Samantha is from a small town in Nebraska. In a small town of a thousand people you don't get much exposure to the arts, but thanks to her Mother and Grandmother she was exposed to music by Irving Berlin and the Gershwin brothers as well as Rogers and Hammerstien II. Her mother showed her movies from the 1930's to the 1950's with great actors such as Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, William Powell, Myrna Loy, Olivia deHavilland, Norma Sheer, and many more. All of these different influences inspired her passion for the perfroming arts. Her first performance was for fundraising the restoration of Harold Llyod's house in a nearby house in Burchard, NE at 10 years old. As she got older she started doing musical theatre at The Haymarket Theatre in Lincoln, NE where she worked with people like Fred Stuart and Vince Leonard.
After graduating high school she went to Lincoln and after many shows and classes gained her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts and Performance.
